Spencer is a Zimbabwean-born sculptor/artist renowned for his expertise in working with driftwood /found wood/petrified wood.Utilising these materials, he crafts one-of-a-kind, unique abstract sculptures that explore various themes, including wildlife, birds,marine life,aquatic animals, and the human form.
His artistic philosophy centers around the belief that his creations are not new entities but rather the culmination of nature's own carving process over the lifetime of the wood. With precision and skill,Spencer brings forth the hidden beauty within the natural materials.
